Our ambition since the beginning has been to be a choir that stands for diversity and openness. We welcome people from all walks of life, all nationalities, creeds and religions. Our only requirement is a willingness to actively contribute through your voice.
Choir singing is an an extremely popular pastime in Sweden. In fact, it’s a bit of a national movement with an estimated 600,000 people singing in a choir. That’s around 17% of the population.
Why is choir singing so common in Sweden? Maybe it’s a nice indoor distraction to have during the long dark winter nights? Maybe it appeals to the Swedish collectivist spirit? Maybe it springs from a long history of hymns, folk songs, drinking songs and contemporary music?
Whatever the reason, it’s very popular! And it’s a brilliant way to make Swedish friends!

With so many choirs out there, why would you join ours? The reasons are many!
We sing all types of songs and styles so you'll always find something you absolutely love to sing.
We're not strict and serious. Quite the opposite! We laugh and have fun together.
Our choir leader is the best! Cecilia is energetic and passionate and so very good at coaching us to be better together. Her arrangements are always just right, challenging us, but not frustrating us.
We value new experiences so you're likely to taste new things every week at our short fika break. Each week a different group is responsible for bringing something nice to snack on. Food is always a good thing to talk about with someone you don't really know.
We do public performances a few times a term. This is a great way to give us a goal and challenge ourselves to sing better. Participation in performances is always voluntary.
